A chance to be nostalgic with this vintage tin for Ovaltine tablets.
In the 1930s to 40s Ovaltine tablets were sold as a concentrated form of Ovaltine, a popular drink mix made with malt extract, milk, and cocoa.
The tablets could be eaten as a snack or dissolved in the mouth as an emergency ration. They were considered nutritious and restorative.
There are signs of wear and tear commensurate with age. The tin measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter.
