Product Details

Silver mustard pot with cobalt blue liner and spoon. Hall marked for Birmingham 1918 (end of world war one ) WA for William aitkin anchor for Birmingham date letter t 1918 lion mark for silver.

 

Please note the liner has a crack these are freely available to buy separately but has been respectfully repaired. The well spoon is hallmarked for 1900 silver lion mark. There is a makers name which we can't quite make out but could be W&H ? 4 1/2 cm height 3 1/2 cm wide.

 

William Aitken had his shop on 37-38 Vyse Street, Birmingham and registered several sponsor’s marks as well in Birmingham as in Chester. His private address was Wellington House, Wellington Road, Handsworth, Birmingham
