Vintage Fat Lava Ceramic vase by Fratelli Fanciullacci for Bitossi. 1960s Italy
This exquisite fat lava style ceramic vase by Fratelli Fanciullacci for Bitossi is a stunning example of their handcrafted work from 1960s Italy. The Fanciullacci pottery was founded in 1862 on the small island Capraia, north of Elba, between Corsica and Italy. Around 1911 they moved the factory to Montelupo, this to be able to distribute their wares by rail more easily. Their 1914 catalogue shows more than 1000 different models
Size: Height 6 in or 15cm. 3.5in or 9cm across the top. 
Condition: Amazing. Immaculate.
