This vintage Crawfords Rover biscuit tin has a very magical quality about it. There is something about the colours and the design on the lid that give it an almost mystical vibe.

On researching the history of the manufacturer, starting with William Crawford and Sons, it is possible to date this tin to pre 1960s as, after that Crawfords was taken over by United Biscuits.
