Sweeney First Aid Supplies Ltd was founded in 1987 by Paul and Gill Sweeney, a husband and wife team from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The business started as a sideline to their pharmacy, supplying first aid items to local businesses and factories. They soon realized there was a need for a company that specialized in first aid supplies, and in 1998 added a small manufacturing area to make tubular bandages. 
 
Sweeney First Aid is a registered United Nations Supplier Vendor and has supplied the International Red Cross and various Peace Keeping Forces. They have a distribution warehouse in Warwick and send items worldwide.
