Antique 1915 (first world war) solid silver vesta case, unusual shape with nice guilding to inside, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1915 Rolason Bros.
Founded in the 1880s and based in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter, Rolason Brothers produced a wide range of good quality small silver items for personal use. They remained in business up until the late 1920s. I would like to think this was given as a present from a loved one to there partner going off to war as there is a very poingnent engraving RA from CT
